We were excited when our Lead ICT proposal was accepted by MOE. We were awarded $100,000 and Mrs Cynthia Seto, our Senior Teacher, implemented MindTools in the teaching of Maths in Primary 4. Our Teachers collaborated with her and presented their ICT initiatives at workshops and conferences.

We had many visits by professionals and ICT experts from England, Ireland, Australia and our neighbouring countries. We were keen to share our ICT initiatives with our visitors.

Our Chinese Language Teachers use the CINUX framework to ensure engaging and interactive work for pupils.

They went for training on curriculum design and are now writing a series of 18 interactive books for Pr. 1 to Pr. 6 pupils. Last year, the first three books were published.

The school is also on a Chinese Experimental ICT project for two Pr. 2 classes. Action research is conducted with some classes too.

We won a Silver Award as our toilets are decorated and kept clean for the Happy Toilet School Education Programme.

We received The Model Tuckshop Award and the CHERISH 2008 Silver Award.

Last Year, Ms Zou Yuhan scored an aggregate of 288 for PSLE. She will be receiving the Prime Minister’s Book Prize in Aug 08.

For CCA, our Boys’ Brigade did us proud by achieving the JM Fraser Award for Excellence. They had won a Gold Award again.

Our Girls’ Brigade secured a Bronze for company award and Silver for National Drill Competition.

The School was awarded the TLLM Ignite and funded over $40,000 to experiment ICARE with two classes of Pr. 3 pupils.
