14 September 2005

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We want to thank our wonderful volunteers who have helped us last term, especially the PALS members and parent volunteers who assisted us in the Community Day and the P1 Registration exercise. We are now into the busiest time of the school year. Here are the activities, programmes and examination schedule to help you plan ahead for your family.

1.
PSLE
As 16 September is the PSLE Listening Comprehension examination, please take note that P2, P4 and P5 pupils do not need to come to school as the classrooms will be used for the above mentioned exams. Only P6 pupils should be in school that morning.
School will be as usual for the P1 and P3 pupils. All CCA will be cancelled that day. As it is a national exam, parents are reminded not to drive into the school premises and to observe security procedures.
Please read the Instructions to Candidates booklet which was issued to your P6 child earlier. Do not allow your child to bring mobile phones, computerised wrist watches or calculators(pg 7 no. 55-58). A candidate may be expelled from the examination room, refused entry for subsequent papers and/or have his papers cancelled if he violates this.
PSLE Written examination is from 5 October to 11 October. Below is the detailed timetable as a reminder to P6 pupils. We pray that our pupils will do their best and achieve good results.
